This review is from: Sauder 409048 Edge Water 59" TV Stand We like this entertainment stand. We like the height for our 60" Samsung TV on the top. The only drawback we found was the depth of the compartments is a little tight. We've had to leave the doors off so far to fit our receiver and HTPC. We could also cut a hole in the back or leave it off, but that's not what we've done so far... Inner width of each of the three compartments: 17.5 inches. Inner depth of each of the shelves: 15.5 inches. This review is from: Sauder 409048 Edge Water 59" TV Stand I have to admit, we were really nervous about ordering furniture online...unsure of the quality and color. Not to mention all the mixed reviews....BUT, both my husband and I were VERY happy with the look and quality of this entertainment unit. Yes, the back is cardboard, but that made it easier to cut holes into it so our receiver would fit. We were able to fit: DVD/VCR player, a 50 CD changer, receiver, turntable AND a cable box! I only wish our center speaker fit inside, but we have an older, large center speaker, so we had to put in on top. We have a 47" TV, and it hangs above, leaving just enough room on each side to look balanced. It is NOT black, but has brownish wood grain accents, that I thought might look cheap, but it does not.....Looks very nice and high end! Great piece, especially for the price. Now....how to keep my 10 month old twins out of it? That's another story!
